Who we are
The data controller is the Svet Folklora platform, a public directory of folklore groups, ensembles and cultural events. For all privacy enquiries, contact us at: admin@svetfolklora.org
What data we collect
Through registration forms we voluntarily collect: group or ensemble name, contact person's name, email address, phone number, location, year founded, links to website and social media, and logo and gallery photos. For events we collect: name, description, date, time, location and event type.
Purpose of data processing
We use your data exclusively to: display approved entries in the public directory, notify the administrator of new submissions, and communicate with you regarding your submission.
Data sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. We publicly display only the data you entered in the form, and only after administrator approval.
Data retention
Data is retained for as long as your entry is active in the directory. You may request deletion at any time by emailing admin@svetfolklora.org.
Your rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase (right to be forgotten), port and object to the processing of your data. Send your request to admin@svetfolklora.org.
Cookies
We use only the technical cookies necessary for the site to function, such as saving your selected language. We do not use tracking or third-party analytics cookies.
